Invicta watches

The brand seeks to make volume sales with reduced margins which ultimately affects the profitability. Understandably, the company has tried to cut the costs by moving the manufacturing processes to countries where cheap labour is available.

A couple of days ago while surfing online watch stores, I came across the Invicta brand of watches. The brand featured a huge collection of watches in different styles that looked quite stunning. There were a variety of designs and some of them had similar design features as the expensive Tag Heuer or Rolex timepieces. Yet the prices of the Invictas I was looking at were reasonable; most of them under $200. So, I was a little curious as to the reason behind the competitive pricing. My curiosity called for a delving into the history of the Invicta watch brand.

Invicta Watch Company was founded in Switzerland in the year 1837, making it a truly Swiss made brand. The founder Raphael Picard believed in offering superb craftsmanship and quality watches to everyone so he sold the timepieces at a discount. This tactic ensured that Invicta watches sold well and the company was very successful.

In 1991 Invicta went through a complete change and re-branded itself as a modern watchmaker that offered its products at hugely discounted prices. This principle of the company’s founder is thus carried on even today. Invicta watches are some of the cheapest, good quality watches that can be found today.

The brand seeks to make volume sales with reduced margins which ultimately affects the profitability. Understandably, the company has tried to cut the costs by moving the manufacturing processes to countries where cheap labour is available. They also began using Japanese Quartz movement in some of their timepieces. However, quality of the timepieces has not been compromised.

My research for an inexpensive but good quality wrist watch led me to the Creation Watches website, which is a Singapore based online watch store that offers a range of Invicta watches at a huge discount. The collection includes Pro Diver Automatics to chronographs to specialty women’s watches, the Creation Watches website has them all. Most of the timepieces are below the $200 mark and hence easily affordable to one and all.

I chose the Invicta Pro Diver 23706 Chronograph Quartz which looked a little different from the rest. The antique silver dial perfectly matches the gold tone stainless steel case. The quartz movement which the Invicta watch has become synonymous with featured in almost all the timepieces on display. I paid $140 for the timepiece that I’d thought of using every day. The strap made of resin fit quite well and is non-toxic to the skin.

The watch fits well and also keeps good time. Being a dive watch, it is water resistant up to a depth of 200 meters. It can be worn with casual or formal wear and is likely to get you compliments. Visit   https://www.creationwatches.sg for more of the Invicta brand of watches, today.
