Coach Watches – Designer Accessories to Enhance your Style

I’ve been meaning to add to my collection of watches for some time now, but never really got down to doing the research. However, a few days back while browsing through the airline in-flight magazine, I came across a classy looking watch that caught my attention for its simple, but distinctive design. It was Coach Delancey 14502969 Analog Quartz Women’s Watch. Frankly, I didn’t know much about the Coach brand, so I quickly pulled out my cell phone and did some research.

‘Coach’ it seems, was a well-known American company that specialises in luxury accessories. Founded in 1941 as a handbags and leather goods company, it began producing watches in 1997. The idea was to offer a luxurious accessory to go with their signature handbags.

The Coach brand is especially known for their brightly coloured and fanciful style women’s handbags, a trait carried on to their wristwatches. Coach timepieces are made in a variety of designs and styles that are distinctive and borrow some of the iconic charms that distinguished the brand from its competitors. So, with a Coach watch, you can expect to get some of the trendiest designs you could imagine.

Having bought the watch at creationwatches.sg (at almost 40% discount), I found the Coach Delancey 14502969 Analog Quartz Women’s Watch very comfortable to wear. The round, silver dial of the watch is beautifully set off by the baby pink leather strap which sits comfortably on the wrist.

At 28mm case diameter it was the right size for my wrist, but what I love most about this timepiece, is its beautiful strap. It carries a distinctive design of signature Cs that adds a certain elegance to this gorgeous timepiece.

In fact, I found a few other Coach models sporting uniquely designed straps. For example, the Coach Round Analog White Dial Ladies watch comes with an intricate cut-out design on a pink leather strap. The pretty detailing on the leather strap of the Delancey Round Analog Beige Dial model, makes it a unique piece.

The Coach brand is focussed on women’s watches. The Women’s collections include a mix of various styles from the sporty to the professional; the colourful and glitzy bracelets stand out for their unique feminine flair. Coach has several collections for the ladies like the Delancey series, Tea Rose, Tatum and Ludlow.

Although the brand isn’t exactly popular with the gents, Coach has created some great-looking watches with minimalistic design to suit the masculine style. The Coach Bleecker Smartwatch for men looks like a minimalistic analog watch. The smartwatch features are displayed only on pressing either of the buttons beside the crown. The Coach brand represents elegance, quality and innovation creating authentic designer pieces that display a blend of the American style and finish. These are affordable, good quality designer timepieces to add to your collection.
